Welcoming guests for over one hundred years, The Hedges on Blue Mountain Lake is the former lakeside Adirondack Great Camp of Civil War brigadier general Hiram Duryea.
Located on a peninsula on Blue Mountain Lake, The Hedges sits on 12 scenic acres with over 1600 feet of waterfront. The views are simply spectacular.

The Hedges is situated on a beautiful spot on Blue Mountain Lake.
Choose your accommodations from over 30 charming wood-and-stone lodging options, including a variety of multi-bedroom cabins perfect for families or rooms and suites in the main lodge (reserved for adult guests). All accommodations come with private baths.
Lodging is in the traditional and cozy Adirondack style, with no TVs, allowing guests to unplug truly. However, guests are never bored.
Activities include all the usual watersports, tennis, BINGO, campfires, live music by the campfire, yoga, watercolor painting, adult social hour, ice cream sundae party, fly tying, forest ranger visit, birds of prey visit, history talk, and astronomy lectures. There are two game rooms, various lawn games and a library for guests to enjoy.
Your stay includes breakfast and a delectable four-course dinner every day (aka, American Plan). Guests rave about the food.
The menu changes daily, and all dishes are prepared on-premises by hand, using seasonal ingredients sourced locally by the chef. It’s easy to understand why so many families and guests return year after year.

Dine in Great Camp style at The Hedges.
Guests can pre-order boxed lunches to take with them on hiking, boating, biking or other adventures. And, they send you off to bed with nightly s’mores. That’s our kind of roughing it.
