2025 Adirondack Folk Music Festival in Schroon Lake

Schroon Lake hosts its 35th annual live music festival featuring the roots of Adirondack Music.

Adirondackers who love folk and native music will descend again on Schroon Lake in the Adirondacks for the 35th Annual Adirondack Folk Music Festival.

This much-anticipated musical event draws talent from across the northeast.

Celebrating “Powerful Women: Voices, Songs and Music.”

This year’s festival celebrates groups and individuals who add to the diverse fabric of Adirondack music. The line-up includes:

• Maeve Gilchrist - Incredible virtuoso singer/songwriter/ composer and Celtic harpist, fresh from touring with Rhiannon Giddens and her Silk Road group. Extraordinary musicianship!

• Peggy Lynn - singer/songwriter/guitarist/member of Jamcrackers/educator/author and Schroon Lake favorite.

• Quickstep-John, Trish and Mark— Long-time Schroon favorites presenting a music and dance program, “Women in the Adirondacks - Past and Present.”

• Colleen Cleveland— Legendary solo balladeer with historic roots in the north country.

• Annie and the Hedonists — Powerhouse vocals that bring to mind the great blues women of the 1940s and 50s.

• Sara Milonovich and Daisycutter — Fresh off a hot appearance at the 518 Music Fest, Schroon's favorite singer/songwriter/ fiddler returns for this festival.

Beyond the music, it is a fun, family-friendly event.

You should come to the Adirondack Folk Music Festival for musical talent, but it’s a great chance to sample other aspects of the Adirondacks.

Enjoy great food and beverages from local food trucks and vendors, Schroon Lake Association-sponsored raffles featuring local businesses, merch, including CDs, from the performing acts, and craft kiosks
