2025 Adirondack Mountain Bike Festival in Old Forge

Attend the 2025 Mountain Bike Festival, proudly presented by the Adirondack Foothills Trails Alliance (AFTA) in collaboration with the Central Adirondack Association (CAA).

Lodged in the scenic beauty of McCauley Mountain near Old Forge, NY, this free festival is an inviting celebration for everyone—from seasoned riders to curious newcomers eager to explore the thrilling sport of mountain biking.

This exciting event offers participants the opportunity to explore the area’s newly renovated and expansive trail system. Attendees will have ample opportunities to meet local vendors and exhibitors, get hands-on experience with the latest bike models through exciting demos, and participate in guided trail tours that showcase the breathtaking landscapes of the Adirondacks.

The festivities kick off at the base of McCauley Mountain Ski Area, which will serve as the main staging area and the trailhead for adventurous journeys into a vast network of singletrack, double track, and flow trails that weave through the lush terrain, extending alluringly from the heights of Maple Ridge down to the charming town of Old Forge.

Event schedule.

Prepare for an exhilarating weekend filled with camaraderie, delicious food, and live music—all set against the backdrop of nature’s splendor.

Friday:

• 12:00-5:00 | Vendors set up while participants can enjoy riding the trails to the soundtrack of great tunes from a live DJ.

• 6:00-8:00 |Indulge in food and drink specials at the Back Door Bar, conveniently located in town, perfect for unwinding after a day on the trails.

Saturday: 

• 9:00-5:00 | Immerse yourself in the festival atmosphere, filled with activities for all ages.

• 9:00-1:00 | Ed Tondryk DJ music

• 10:00 and 2:00 |Bike Tours

• 1:00-5:00 | Live Music-Uncle Charlie and the Meatballs
