The entertaining 5th Annual "Fall for Schroon" Festival & Car Show is returning on October 18, 2025.
Classic cars, pumpkins and live music share the spotlight when the sixth annual Fall for Schroon Festival & Car Show returns to Schroon Lake on Saturday, October 17, 2026. The free Adirondack fall festival spreads across Dock Street, Leland Avenue and Town Park, bringing a harvest farmers’ market, food trucks and family activities to the lakeside village.
Sponsored by the Schroon Lake Chamber of Commerce, the event suits visitors who enjoy a little variety in their autumn outings. Car enthusiasts can begin with the show at 10 am; families can follow with pumpkin painting, games and activities beginning at 11 am.

The car show opens at 10 am with classic cars and trucks. For visitors whose idea of fall color includes a beautifully painted vintage vehicle, this is the natural place to begin.
The waterfront setting gives the gathering its particular appeal. Schroon Lake’s Town Park puts the lake itself into the picture, making time between festival stops an opportunity to enjoy the view.
