Snow in the Adirondacks has a way of slowing time—in the best possible way.

On Saturday, January 31, 2026, Great Camp Sagamore Snow Days invites visitors to step into a winter scene that feels lifted straight from the golden age of Adirondack Great Camps.

Equal parts outdoor adventure and fireside coziness, this winter event is designed for families, history lovers, and anyone who believes cold weather is best enjoyed with a sense of play.

Snow Days transform the storied grounds of Great Camp Sagamore into a living, breathing winter playground. Guests are encouraged to bring friends, family, and a healthy dose of curiosity to explore the snow-covered campus, where the Adirondack winter feels both rugged and welcoming.

Snow Days aren’t just about winter fun—they’re also an invitation to experience one of the Adirondacks’ most iconic historic sites in its quietest, most magical season.

Only the Collins Building and the Playhouse are open to the public during the event, allowing visitors to explore these beautifully preserved spaces while imagining life at a Great Camp more than a century ago.
