Lake George’s Jazz Weekend 2025.

The Lake George Arts Project presents the 41st annual Jazz at the Lake, a premier music festival.

Lake George Village provides a beautiful backdrop for Jazz at the Lake.

Celebrating its 41st year, Jazz at the Lake stands as one of the most distinguished jazz festivals in the Northeast. Set against the stunning backdrop of Lake George, this beloved event, often referred to as the Lake George Jazz Weekend, highlights the dynamic and diverse world of jazz, attracting an impressive lineup of talented musicians from across the nation. 

Since its inception in 1984, Jazz at the Lake has blossomed into a highly anticipated and critically acclaimed cultural gathering. Taking place just after the peak summer season, this festival draws between 5,000 and 7,000 attendees to the enchanting Lake George region, establishing itself as the area’s foremost free cultural event.

Ranked as one of the top 20 longest, consecutive-running jazz festivals in the country, the Jazz at the Lake festival also boasts one of only two spots in the top twenty that are entirely free.

The festival showcases nearly 20 performances, spanning a wide variety of jazz styles, each offering a unique auditory experience.

Signature performances take center stage at the scenic Shepard Park in Lake George Village. At the same time, additional shows are hosted at various partner venues throughout the Town and Village, enriching the overall atmosphere with the sounds of exceptional jazz talent.

Jazz Cruise

• 10:30 am – 12 pm: Jazz Cruise on the Mohican operated by the Lake George Steamboat Company

  • Featured artists Arch Stanton Quartet

  • Enjoy live music, light breakfast fare, and breathtaking views while cruising the sparkling waters of the Queen of American Lakes.

  • To attend, tickets must be purchased for this event

As free music festivals gradually and sadly disappear, the Lake George Arts Project remains dedicated to preserving Jazz at the Lake as FREE AND OPEN TO ALL.

Rooted in the Arts Project's mission to provide income opportunities for artists and deliver high-quality arts programming to the region, Jazz at the Lake fosters artistic expression, offers enriching cultural experiences, and bolsters the local economy while supporting local artists.

  Lake George’s favorite BBQ! The Barnsider will be bringing comfort food classics and mouth-watering barbecue staples

• Ben & Jerry’s (Saturday & Sunday)
  A longtime supporter and friend of Jazz at the Lake – Ben & Jerry’s ice cream speaks for itself!

• Saratoga Sundry (Saturday & Sunday)
  A retro-inspired mobile coffee shop serving all of your morning, noon, and nighttime favorites

• Polish Corner (Saturday & Sunday)
  New to Jazz at the Lake – Keilbasa and pierogi, oh my!

• Weiner Wagon (Saturday & Sunday)
  Serving classic American fare, including fresh-squeezed lemonade, hot dogs, sausage with peppers and onions, and more!

• A & S Spice on Wheels (Sunday)
  A & S Spice On Wheels is known for its diverse and flavorful menu that showcases a fusion of spices and culinary traditions

• Vashti’s Caribbean (Saturday)
  Enjoy the spices and flavors of the Caribbean
