Lake George’s free Wednesday night summer concert series in Shepard Park concludes with a performance by Reese Fulmer & The Carriage House Band.
Reese cut his teeth as the house manager at the iconic Saratoga Springs listening room Caffe Lena. According to Art of the Song, Reese Fulmer has emerged “with a poet’s sensibility rich with great storytelling, imagery and a healthy dose of irony.”
Reese and his band were named Americana Artist of the Year in 2023 and 2024 at the Thomas Edison Music Awards. Music critics consider Reese and his band among the fastest-rising groups in the Capital Region.
With a rotating cast of top players and a broad and dynamic body of work, their live performances are always fresh and full of joy. Their indie-folk/alt-Americana sound is often compared to groups like Wilco or Josh Ritter & The Royal City Band.
