On April 8, 2024, something truly extraordinary is happening across the Adirondacks: the Total Solar Eclipse. Many towns are hosting events and festivals to commemorate this once-in-a-lifetime experience. The Town of Newcomb’s event, “Total Eclipse in the Heart,” promises to be a day of fun and excitement in the Central Adirondacks.
Newcomb is on the Path of Totality and will experience a complete eclipse on the afternoon of April 8. The partial eclipse will begin at 2:14 pm. And the Total eclipse takes place at 3:25 pm and lasts 2 minutes and 44.9 seconds
Events take place at the Town of Newcomb Information Center.
