Adirondack Folk School’s Summer Festival is full of live music, food trucks, artist demos, and activities for the whole family to enjoy. This event is free to attend on July 26. Stop by to see what they’re all about.

At the Adirondack Folk School (AFS), you'll receive the opportunity to learn about the arts, crafts, and traditions of the Adirondacks. Instructors from around the country share their knowledge and craftsmanship, and inspire you with their enthusiasm.
The AFS’s year-round classes range from half-day sessions to multi-week courses, with subjects as diverse as Adirondack chair building, twig and rustic furniture, caning, ceramic arts, organic gardening, blacksmithing, and so much more.
In addition to hands-on classes, this historic building always welcomes storytellers and musicians to share their cultural heritage of the Adirondacks through demonstrations, special programs, and gatherings.
Adirondack Folk School Wee Lassie Regatta.
The AFS will kick off the day at 9 am on July 26, 2025, with a Wee Lassie Regatta. Former students will be launching their handcrafted canoes onto the lake, and then everyone heads down to the folk school for a day of Summer fun.
Throughout the day, enjoy live music and delicious food with an artistic flair. Don’t miss this event in lovely Lake Luzerne in the southern Adirondacks. See Adirondack Folk School’s website for more information.
