West Mountain in Queensbury, just outside Glens Falls, knows how to throw a winter party—and Fire On the Mountain is its signature cold-weather celebration.
Returning on Saturday, February 14, 2026, this popular annual event combines night skiing, live music, fire features, and fireworks into one high-energy evening that kicks off February Break Week in true Adirondack style.
Sponsored by Crisafulli Bros. and Streamlined Graphics, Fire On the Mountain runs from 7:00–11:00 pm and is designed for skiers, riders, and winter lovers who want more than just laps on the hill. It’s a full-on après-ski celebration with spectacle, sound, and plenty of reasons to linger long after the lifts slow down.
A winter night worth staying up for.
Fire On the Mountain blends classic ski-area traditions with festival flair. Guests can ski under the lights, warm up by the bonfire, enjoy fiery food and drink specials, and catch live music—all before the night sky fills with fireworks.

The highlight of the evening is the torchlight parade, when skiers descend the mountain carrying glowing torches, creating a ribbon of fire against the snow. Moments later, fireworks light up the sky, delivering a dramatic finale that feels especially fitting for Valentine’s Day.
