Fall Foliage Takes the High Road at Gore Mountain Harvest Fest
Gore Mountain Scenic Skyride in autumn.
You can take in the autumn view at Gore Mountain in two ways: from the ground, with a craft market and live music, or from a lift rising above the slopes. Gore Mountain Harvest Fest brings both to North Creek on Saturday and Sunday, October 10 and 11, 2026. The annual Adirondack fall festival runs from 10 am – 4 pm in the mountain’s main base area.
Admission is free, so visitors can browse the market and enjoy the entertainment without buying a lift ticket. A Scenic Skyride is a separate, ticketed choice for anyone who wants a higher vantage point on the foliage.

Visitors can choose the open-air Adirondack Express or the enclosed Northwoods Gondola. A short hike connects the lifts so that you can experience both rides with the same skyride ticket. The choice gives foliage watchers two ways to see the mountain, while those who prefer to stay at the base can still enjoy the festival.
You can buy tickets online in advance or in person during the event. Sales end at 3 pm on both days, and the last ride up departs at 3:15 pm. Anyone who buys online must print a SKI3 skyride card at a kiosk near the ticket windows before going to the lift; the QR code alone won't work there.

More than 60 vendors are expected in the base area, with pottery, jewelry, artwork, crafts, baked goods and other food among the offerings. The announced lineup includes Three Daughters Clay, Odyssey Stoneware, Cheryl’s Stained Glass, Strohmeyer Honey Co. and Upper Hudson Coffee. It is a good stop for visitors who like to meet the people behind what they take home, as well as those whose ideal fall outing includes a little shopping between views.
Gore lists food and drink options including the Open Pit Grill, Outdoor Bar, Waffle Cabin and Tannery. Visitors can make an afternoon of the market, a bite to eat and the music, whether or not they take a skyride.

Saturday’s announced entertainment includes Josh Clevenstine, the Dancing Witches, Mr. Twisty and Warden & Co. The North South Dakotas are listed for Sunday. Gore also promises games and family activities, though it has not published a detailed activity schedule.
