The Park Theater Presents The Jeremy Gold Quartet

Jazz night returns to The Park Theater in Glens Falls.

The Jeremy Gold Quartet will headline a special edition of the Park Theatre’s monthly Jazz Night, featuring a rotating lineup of artists and favorite collaborators. Enjoy a diverse range of music that spans the jazz genre, from beloved classics to original pieces that are sure to capture your heart.

Jeremy Gold began playing the alto saxophone at the age of 10 in Niskayuna, NY. He was a member of his school’s jazz ensemble throughout middle school and high school, while also taking private lessons. Jeremy's talent was recognized when he won the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award, given to the most promising senior, which earned him a scholarship to the prestigious Conservatory of Music at Purchase College, SUNY.

While at Purchase, he studied under esteemed mentors such as Javon Jackson, Ralph Lalama, Todd Coolman, Pete Malinverni, and Ray Vega. He had the opportunity to perform with both the university's jazz big band and Latin jazz ensemble, as well as with various small jazz ensembles directed by Steve Wilson and Hal Galper.

Jeremy actively participated in NYC jam sessions, where he honed his skills by playing alongside accomplished artists such as Roy Hargrove, Robert Glasper, Stacy Dillard, Greg Glassman, and Ambrose Akinmusire.

After his time at Purchase, Jeremy earned a B.A. in Psychology from SUNY Albany. After graduation, he self-taught studio production and audio engineering. As a music producer, Jeremy has collaborated with several artists, including The Voice finalist Clinton Washington and Young $yrup from A$AP Mob.

In 2022, Jeremy returned to his roots as a jazz saxophonist, performing in and around Troy, NY. Since then, he has shared the stage with numerous artists, including Joe Barna and Sketches of Influence, Jimmy Madison and Friends, Tarik Shah, Ian MacDonald, and Greg Glassman. Jeremy is also a member of the Peter Annello Band and TSEnsemble, and he leads a weekly jazz jam at 518 Craft in Troy, NY.
