Boo2You Brings Tricks, Treats, and a Shopping Stroll to Glens Falls

Kids in halloween costumes trick or treating.

Halloween fun in downtown Glens Falls.

Downtown Glens Falls gives Halloween an afternoon appointment when Boo2You returns Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 2 pm – 4 pm. The free, family-friendly celebration brings costumed children and their guardians to Glen and Ridge Streets and City Park, at the southern gateway to the Adirondacks.

Storefront trick-or-treating, sidewalk festivities, music by DJ Pete, and live performances anchor the afternoon. New for 2026, the Spooky Shopping Stroll adds themed, kid-friendly retail and food vendors along Maple Street. Even the grown-ups have a reason to carry a shopping bag.

Trick-or-treating in downtown Glens Falls.

Boo2You makes downtown itself part of the entertainment, with treats at participating storefronts and activities along the sidewalks and in City Park. Children and their accompanying adults are encouraged to attend in costume.

The participating lineup includes the Chapman Museum, Glens Falls Community Theatre, Wood Theater, and World Awareness Children’s Museum, alongside local businesses and community organizations. Their involvement gives the celebration a distinctly Glens Falls cast, although the organizer has not specified what each participant will offer.

Families looking for a daytime Halloween outing will find the essentials here: costumes, trick-or-treating, music, and performances within a two-hour window.

Boo to you!

Maple Street adds a Spooky Shopping Stroll.

The new Maple Street component gives families another part of downtown to explore between treat stops. Great Carrying Place and Krunchy Kream are specifically identified as vendors selling goods there.

Admission to Boo2You is free, but shopping purchases cost extra. The organizer confirms food vendors without publishing menus, so particular snacks remain a surprise best left to the vendors.

ADK Taste recommendation.

Allow time for both the Glen and Ridge Street festivities and the new Maple Street stroll. With the entire event running from 2 pm – 4 pm, arriving near the start gives families more flexibility to trick-or-treat, browse, and catch entertainment.

Comfortable walking shoes and a separate treat bag make sensible costume accessories.
