A beer festival with a purpose.
The Glens Falls Brewfest, a craft beer and wine-tasting festival, is a meaningful fundraiser for the Feeder Canal Alliance, a non-profit advocacy group dedicated to conserving and improving the historic Feeder Canal & Towpath Trail in Glens Falls, NY.
Fourteen years ago, three beer enthusiasts initiated one of the first local beer festivals. They aimed to do more than just create a vibrant space for enjoying locally crafted beers. They aimed for it to have a positive impact on the local area. As a result of their efforts, Glens Falls BrewFest and its sponsors have raised over $300,000 for the Glens Falls community.
